About me
I live in rural New South Wales – just about as far as imaginable from the action of the period in Australian art history that I am interested in. I love Australian art and there is nothing more exciting to me than delving into the archives and piecing together past lives. This website is my way of giving back to the artists who have brought me so much joy and purpose, and I hope that it helps to re-shine a light on their work and their importance to Australian art history.
Bio
Lainie holds a Bachelor Degree in Art History and was awarded the faculty award for the most outstanding student based on academic and practical performance in her graduating year.
Lainie also has formal qualifications in photography and has more than 15 years copy writing experience. She has written features for newspapers including a comprehensive course on digital photography, published over 13 weeks, across both the Australian Publishing Network and News Media rural footprints. She is currently working on her first book of creative non fiction on the life of Janet Cumbrae Stewart.
